Insurance Advisor Role Description

At Westland Insurance, we are seeking a seasoned Insurance Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a critical role in promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service that promotes client retention and satisfaction.

  • Uncover clients' business challenges and act as a client advocate, identifying their needs and providing recommendations.

  • Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Laser-focused, with a track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic client relationships.

  • Master time manager, with the ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate confidentiality and discretion.

  • Insurance broker level 1 license or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided).

  • 6 months+ of industry experience.
