Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work to be performed. They will also be required to test drive vehicles for proper handling, clean and maintain the work space, and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report
  • Inspect repaired vehicles
  • Plan repair work to be performed
  • Test drive vehicles for proper handling
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Work Environment

The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dusty and noisy environment with odours present.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Steel-toed safety boots
