As a skilled Backend Software Engineer at IBM Computing, you will be part of a team that transforms our customer's challenges into innovative solutions. We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of AI-powered, cloud-native software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software products using Java, J2EE, and Python.
  • Collaborate with the broader Product Management, Design, Development & Support team using Scrum agile methodology.
  • Enhance and build new product capabilities, working closely with the Product Management team.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from solution design to deployment.
  • Uphold quality standards, including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability, and usability.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience developing, deploying, and debugging Java/J2EE applications and Python.
  • 6+ years of experience with database systems, including SQL or NoSQL data stores.
  • 4+ years of experience in development and design of CI/CD & other automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of Agile Development principles and practices.
