Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinic team. As a Physiotherapist at Lifemark, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Your expertise and passion for physiotherapy will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat clients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and clinical reasoning.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
  • Delegate treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants as needed.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Supervise Physiotherapy students as preferred.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders and client referral sources.
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • 1-2+ years' experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
