Human Resources Officer

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at ASIYANS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

  • Key responsibilities include advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, reviewing candidate inventories, and contacting potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • The Human Resources Officer will also be responsible for recruiting graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, coordinating and participating in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and notifying applicants of results of the selection process and preparing job offers.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

They will also be responsible for providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
