Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance, Risk and Compliance professional to join our Network Security Integration team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining Network Security process models, consulting and supporting the strategic governance of Network Security controls, and ensuring that process and procedure documents align with RBC Standards and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Network Security process models and consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment with RBC Standards and Regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of Network Security controls and procedures.
  • Identify and catalogue potential gaps in the implementation processes of Network Security teams.
  • Review and ensure that process and procedure documents created by operational teams and programs align with RBC Standards and Regulations.
  • Review Network Security metrics and make recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Gather and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Network Security.
  • Represent the Network Security team in interactions with internal and external risk and compliance teams.
  • Facilitate evidence gathering for all Network Security related Audit, Regulatory and third-party requests.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to review and understand new technology and service deployments.
Requirements
  • University graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Professional designations i.e., CRISC, CISSP.
  • Experience with IT audit, with a risk management foundation.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, research and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to priority changes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using RSA Archer, ServiceNow or other Risk Management platforms.
  • Ability to use a systemic approach to solving problems through attention to detail, analysis, and evaluation of alternative solutions.
