Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at AMI TEA SAINT JOHN. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and storing beverage and food products.
  • Operate a cash register and record and balance beverage sales.
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role or in the food and beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
