Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is a key member of our team at Holcim, responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our concrete products. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of concrete products to identify any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including procedures, checklists, and reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or construction technology.
  • Experience in the construction materials industry, preferably in quality control or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
