Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Associate to join our team at THE VERSE A & W. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking pride in providing a welcoming and attentive service.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure that our guests have access to a wide range of fresh and healthy options.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Reliability and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week is required.
