About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As a key member of our rehabilitation-focused company, you will play a vital role in providing therapy solutions for seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, and consult with local vendors regarding equipment trials and applications.
  • Provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides, as well as ongoing education to clients and family to improve function, independence, and safety.
  • Evaluate restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention, and record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

  • A competitive pay range of $45 - $65/hour.
