The Canopy Growth Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production facility as a Production Assistant.

About the Role

The Production Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility, and contributing to the growth and harvest of our plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily care and maintenance of plants from clone to harvest, ensuring optimal growth and health.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area at all times, including routine cleaning and daily/weekly sterilization of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Harvest and repopulate rooms in an efficient and timely manner, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations.
  • Perform general care of tools, technical equipment, and production facility, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Work cohesively in a group or independently as required, demonstrating ability to troubleshoot equipment/machinery and follow direction.
  • Ability to work in warm conditions, handle disinfection chemicals, and lift 25kg or more.
  • Must have moderate computer skills and be able to follow SOPs related to daily work activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Horticulture experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail, knowledge of plant processes, and ability to carry out repetitive tasks at a high level of quality.
  • Willingness and flexibility to complete any task assigned, with a high level of initiative and passion for growing plants.
