Job Summary

WAIVIN FLAGS TAXI is seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bus fleet. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervision, dispatching, and training, with a strong focus on ensuring the health and safety of our drivers and passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 drivers and ensure they are following company policies and procedures.
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure efficient service.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and report any incidents.
  • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with a strong focus on customer service.
