About the Role:We are looking for a skilled mechanic with experience in repairing and maintaining vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
Responsibilities:- Inspect vehicles to determine the requirements for repair and maintenance
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Calibrate products using hand tools
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
- Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
- Set up and dismantle equipment
- Replace parts as required
- Maintain inventory of equipment
- Maintain accurate records
- Disassemble defective units and repair or replace suspect parts
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Or equivalent experience
The work environment is dusty and noisy, with frequent exposure to outdoors. Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
Compensation:We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
