About This Role

This challenging position involves leading exciting real estate development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. As a Project Manager at Yoke Group Inc., you'll play a key role in shaping the landscape of Hamilton.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Guide projects through every phase, from initial feasibility and planning to construction and closeout, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and community needs.
  • Apply your knowledge of the Hamilton real estate market, zoning regulations, and building codes to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, feasibility studies, and market analysis to assess project viability and maximize potential.
  • Develop detailed project pro formas, financial models, and budgets to ensure projects are financially sound and profitable.
  • Oversee the selection and management of architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proactively manage project budgets, schedules, and risks, identifying and mitigating potential challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and community groups.

You'll Need:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in real estate development with a focus on project management, showcasing successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with the Hamilton real estate market and development landscape.
  • A strong understanding of real estate finance, development pro formas, and budget management.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
