Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Panago Pizza. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
