Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as preparing cheques, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledgers.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Settlement Support: Assist with the settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for visible minorities and youth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
