Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Bloomers Childcare Centre. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
