Job Title: Rope Access Technician

We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team at TASC. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for working at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging environments to perform a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform rope access and rescue operations in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging environments
  • Operate aerial lifts and aerial work platforms
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities
  • Provide training and instruction to apprentices
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in rope access and rescue operations
  • Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Certification
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging environments
  • Exposure to dust, heat, noise, and odours
  • May be required to work outdoors and in wet/damp conditions
