  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory and records to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to food safety guidelines and quality standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our team and customers.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring exceptional presentation and service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, making informed decisions to drive efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical demands.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
