We are seeking a talented Medical Laboratory Professional to join our team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and request required information from patients, ensuring they have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
  • Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, and perform ECG tracings.
  • Maintain client relationships, responding to inquiries and following up on requests.
  • Prepare specimens for transportation and testing.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related experience.
  • ECG training or experience is an asset.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
