The Opportunity

WSP is currently seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Municipal Engineering team in Kelowna, British Columbia. Reporting to the Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering in Kelowna, this position will be responsible for working on projects for public infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in municipal engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
