Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Raise Drill Operator to join our team at Cementation Americas.



Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the raise drill during all operations from set up to tear down, ensuring compliance with established safety protocols and procedures.



Key Accountabilities:

  1. Operate raise drill equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
  2. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  3. Collaborate with the Raise Boring Field Superintendent to develop and implement safe operating procedures.
  4. Train new drillers and helpers in safe work methods and drilling techniques.
  5. Participate in the development and implementation of safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  1. completion of High School and relevant certification in Raise Drill operation.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in long large diameter work, preferably operating a Strata 950.
  3. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
