Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Overview
At Shangri-La Food Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, supervising staff, and managing events. Your exceptional customer service skills, combined with your ability to multitask and work under pressure, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily operations and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Manage events, including planning, organization, and execution.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and related forms, as well as negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns.

- Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Valid driver's licence.
