Medical Laboratory Technologist II

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing routine lab procedures and rotating through various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures
• Rotate through various disciplines, including Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and procedures
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
Requirements
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
• Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
