Job Summary

Are you a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Northern Health Authority as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, rotating through various disciplines, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine laboratory procedures, including blood tests, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests
* Rotate through various disciplines, including Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information

Requirements

* Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program
* Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
