Regional Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering on-the-job training to Screening Officers in accordance with our training program requirements and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to Screening Officers, including on-the-job training, practical skill development sessions, and refresher courses.
- Training Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as needed.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of training programs with operational requirements.
- Training Development: Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
- Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Screening Officers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Adult Learning, Communications, Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in training and development, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Certifications: Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) and Non-Passenger Screening (NPS) qualifications, and have achieved 90% on National X-Ray Exam and PBS RLP Knowledge Exam.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is considered an asset.
