Job Title: Plumber and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumber and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Everest Drain & Plumbing Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing systems using blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Instruct apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for efficient job completion
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Supervise other workers on site
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements
  • Backflow prevention Certification
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
