Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Associate to join our team at Yorkdale Mall.

About the Role:

  • Support the store in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and productive store environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Contribute to driving our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metrics.
  • Support upkeeping the overall physical store maintenance, standards, and cleanliness.
  • Effectively organize the stock room and efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge.
  • Accurately and efficiently utilize point of sale (POS) systems and operational tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and must be flexible to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good understanding of store operations and driving sales performance.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-orientated environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in another language, Mandarin speaking preferred.
