About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Coordinator to join our team in Winnipeg. As a Field Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Document field records for quality, production, labor, and materials to maintain a high level of transparency and accountability.
  • Assist with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities to ensure efficient project management.
  • Prepare quantity takeoffs to inform project planning and execution.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections, deficiencies, and issue management to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
  • Conduct basic safety inspections and training, identify and correct safety hazards, and lead by example in safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes, and billings, and workforce planning to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Assist with schedules and monitoring performance to ensure timely project completion.
  • Assist in creating construction sequence and work plans to inform project execution.
  • Conduct construction surveying and layout, including as-built documentation to ensure accurate project records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade, or a related field.
  • 1 year of progressive experience as a field coordinator is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Revit is considered an asset.
