Production Team Member

At Ontario Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Production Team Member to join our team. As a Manufacturing Operator Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality plastic products.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow formulas. They will be responsible for weighing resins, colorants, and other chemicals, monitoring and inspecting the quality of materials produced, and operating mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulas.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced.
- Place weighed materials in mixing machines.
- Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
- Pack items for shipping and distribution.
- Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products.
- Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for injection moulding processes.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Manual dexterity.
- Handling heavy loads.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Physically demanding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Public transportation available.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
