Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at MacIntosh Cancer Clinic, located within Belleville General Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a community-based hospital setting, as well as at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario (CCSEO), a Queen's University-based, academic, tertiary care Regional Cancer Centre in Kingston.
About the RoleAs a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for managing both malignant hematology and solid tumors. You will work closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists, oncology-focused nursing staff, and an exemplary administrative team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patients with malignant hematology and solid tumors
- Collaborate with the CCSEO team to provide comprehensive cancer care
- Participate in academic and clinical work within the Internal Medicine department at Belleville General Hospital
- Contribute to research and teaching opportunities at Queen's University
As a Medical Oncologist at Quinte Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be eligible for an academic appointment at Queen's University and will have access to state-of-the-art clinics and facilities.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine, or equivalent, and completion of sub-specialty training in Medical Oncology with eligibility for APP under the ONT MOA agreement.
