About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at COMFORT INN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing of buildings and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC): Make adjustments and minor repairs to HVAC systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and ensure that all areas are secure and free from hazards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, and respond to any maintenance-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a maintenance-related role.
  • Skills: Physical stamina, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
