Culinary Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Fernie Pizza & Pasta. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing kitchen operations, supervising staff and helpers, and ensuring a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen and work areas.
- As a Culinary Operations Manager, you must have strong attention to detail, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.
- You will also be responsible for preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that all food served meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; additional education or certifications may be an asset.
- A minimum of one year to less than two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- You must have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical capabilities include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and being able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
