About the RoleWe are seeking two highly skilled lawyers with a minimum of 5 years of Ontario litigation experience. This opportunity offers flexibility in remote work arrangements, requiring candidates to have a suitable home office setup.
This position presents a unique chance for growth and development in a dynamic environment that prioritizes work-life balance and realistic billable targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex litigation cases with confidence and autonomy, making informed decisions that drive results.
- Draft, review, and manage critical case documents and proceedings to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide exceptional client service during mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information while employing strategic thinking to navigate intricate legal challenges.
- Hold an LL.B. or J.D. degree from a recognized law school.
- Be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Possess a strong command of English (verbal and written), with French being an additional asset.
- Show ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, leveraging effective communication and collaboration skills.
Achkar Law offers a comprehensive benefits package, including dental care, extended health care, LSO fees, and Lawpro fees. The regular working schedule is Monday to Friday.
Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
