At CENTURY PARK VETERINARY SERVICES INC, we are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team. As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals in our clinic. Your duties will include diagnosing diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks through physical examinations or laboratory tests. You will also treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery. Additionally, you will vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases, advise clients on feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care of animals, and perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations. You will also provide a range of veterinary services including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia, and supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in this field. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and will have access to paid time off, mileage paid, and learning/training paid by employer. If you are a reliable, efficient, and team-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
