This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, collecting samples, and performing laboratory tests under the supervision of our veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and preparing biological samples for analysis and testing
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and providing post-operative care to patients
  • Administering medications and vaccines as directed by our veterinarians
  • Providing general administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and processing transactions
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure the highest standards of animal care and safety
Requirements:
  • Completion of a veterinary assistance program or equivalent education and experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an animal care setting, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
Compensation and Benefits:

Our competitive salary range for this role is between $45,000 and $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and professional development opportunities.
