Job Opportunity: Nursing Graduate Guarantee Program

Mackenzie Health is excited to participate in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program, which provides temporary full-time employment to new graduate Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses.

Program Overview

The NGG program is funded by the ministry to support the successful transition of new nursing graduates into practice and full-time employment. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all staff and patients.

Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized college or university

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Address and resolve issues in a productive and respectful manner
  • Exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all staff and patients

How to Participate

Eligible nurses must register and create a profile on the designated website. Apply for the various departments with Mackenzie Health and complete the transition into practice period.
