Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members and students.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of service throughout the Environmental Services Department by following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Clean assigned areas according to schedule and infection control protocols.
  • Prioritize and complete extra cleaning duties within established timeframes.
  • Conduct daily inspections of areas of responsibility to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain and operate equipment efficiently.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks, including washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting.
  • Clean and maintain housekeeping carts and restock supplies as needed.
  • Process and distribute laundry and linen according to established standards and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory procedures and participate in quality control audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. You will also need to be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and moving equipment and supplies.
