Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Allina Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to student athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to student athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student athletes.
- Assess and treat injuries, including applying casts and splints, and administering therapies or treatments as directed by a physician.
- Communicate with physicians and other clinical team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
- Coordinate care with other medical providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and qualified rehabilitation consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required.
- Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred.
- Licensed Athletic Trainer - MN Board of Medical Practice required if providing services in MN upon hire.
- Certified Athletic Trainer - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer required upon hire.
- Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) Upon Hire required.
