We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Post Office Assistant to join our team at Canada Post Corp. This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and availability to work variable hours as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the business community and public, selling postal products and services, and sorting, distributing, and processing mail into appropriate classifications.

To excel in this role, you should have high school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration, as well as training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.

Additionally, you should possess an understanding of general or post office accounting systems, physical fitness to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time, and flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
