About the Role

We're seeking a skilled compiler engineer to support the development of our Neuron SDK, which optimizes the performance of complex neural net models executed on AWS Inferentia and Trainium. As a member of our team, you'll work on implementing business-critical features and be mentored by experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop high-performance compilers for AWS Inferentia and Trainium.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the Neuron SDK with popular deep learning frameworks.
  3. Contribute to the development of innovative software and hardware solutions that accelerate deep learning workloads.
Requirements
  1. Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.
  2. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  3. Strong interests and academic qualifications in areas such as code generation, compute graph optimization, resource scheduling, data structures, and algorithms.
  4. Available for a 12-month internship starting May 2025.
  5. Previous technical internship(s) and experience with optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
