Petro Canada with A&W is seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, as well as scan items and tabulate total payments
  • Receive payment for goods or services, and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
  • Greet customers, provide product information, and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods is essential, as is attention to detail and excellent oral communication skills.

Requirements:
  • Accurate and reliable, with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude
