Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with VOIP, Voice, Video Product Testing Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Group Nine LLC. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for our IP-based phone portfolio based on Linux and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical discussions with development and product management teams to ensure technical features are properly tested and validated.
  • Architect test coverage based on technical specifications of features for our IP phones product portfolio.
  • Work with the team to lead functional testing and automation of certain features and releases of our IP Phones features and functionalities, including partner Android applications.
  • Investigate feature requirements for the product and design test cases out of the requirements for features and customer issues and escalations.
  • Administer switches, routers, gateways, SIP proxies, and IP media servers.
  • Collaborate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.
  • Represent the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of experience in testing of Voice/Video IP-based products supporting SIP/H323, SDP, RTP, TCP, UDP protocols.
  • Experience with Java, Python, and PERL programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Test Planning.
  • CCNA/CCNP certification.
  • Experience level: 6-10 years preferred, but qualified candidates with 3-5 years of experience will be considered.
