Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, inspecting sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, and recommending additional services as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff
  • Inspect sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is a hotel, motel, or resort setting.
