Elevate RS Corp is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to join our team in Thunderbay, ON.

Salary: Starting at $40 per hour.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment. The successful candidate will have a valid 310T license and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Use Vehicle Electronics Systems: Interpret failure modes for repairs using vehicle computer electronics systems.
  • Meet Deadlines: Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Paperwork and Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts usage, and tracking repair times.
  • Review and Address Repairs: Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Ongoing Tasks: Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of a vocational technical school program.
  • Licenses: Must hold a valid 310T license.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
