Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing professional level HR support to the Global Functions Line of Business (LOB) in areas such as employee relations, performance management, and compensation. The successful candidate will establish HR as a trusted business partner, ensuring that HR initiatives, programs, and policies are fully understood and implemented within the LOB.

The ideal candidate will assist Sr/HR Managers in structuring and developing their respective teams to maximize performance and employee engagement. This includes coaching managers on talent management and motivating all team members to ensure employee performance, engagement, and accountability.

This role also involves supporting Sr/HR Managers with topics including compiling reports, system updates, managing employee records, and general administrative support. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist employees in navigating job issues, career development, and answer general questions regarding HR programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish HR as a trusted business partner within the LOB.
- Assist Sr/HR Managers in structuring and developing their teams to maximize performance and employee engagement.
- Support Sr/HR Managers with various tasks, including report compilation, system updates, and employee record management.
- Assist employees with job-related issues, career development, and HR program/policy inquiries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in an HR-related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in an HR Generalist role.
- Experience with employee relations and leading investigations is preferred.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of employment legislation across Canada.
- Previous experience working with an international business/organization is an asset.
