Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Web Freight Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various locations.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling.
