Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Web Freight Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Operate a Global Positioning System (GPS) and other navigation equipment to optimize routes and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
