We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Urban Fare in Kelowna, BC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a team, participating in production and service, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure excellent performance and teamwork.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Production and Service
- Participate in the production and service of high-quality food products, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation and taste.
- Collaborate with the Chef to plan and execute menu development, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all food products meet high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
- Implement and maintain effective food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive and memorable experience.
