We are currently looking for experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to work in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities in the Falconbridge area. This opportunity offers above-average wages, travel compensation, and accommodation.

Shifts will be early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Nursing Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care, within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care delivery in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • Guarantee safe transfer and discharge processes.
  • Manage drugs and narcotics effectively, adhering to protocols on all shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.

Requirements:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate required.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible shift times, eight or twelve hours in length.
  • Must 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital as needed.
  • Reliable attendance once availability is given.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.

About Our Opportunity:

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging between $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
